The Virtual Keypad App
DMP developed into a world-renowned security brand right from their headquarters in Springfield, MO, where they’re still located. While they offer premium, sophisticated security platforms, they’ve remained committed to maintaining easy-to-use systems for households and large corporations.
Their Virtual Keypad App allows users to manage their access control and other security systems as well as their locks, lights, thermostats, and more. The scalable cloud-based system enables you to manage a single door to large, multi-building spaces right from your smartphone, laptop, or tablet. You can also access security cameras, arm and disarm the alarm, review the history, and delete or add users to the system.
Users can remotely view up to 16 video cameras. You’ll also receive notifications when someone arms or disarms the system, if an alarm goes off, and when someone enters or leaves home. We can also set the system up to control multiple systems with one tap. For example, a “Returning Home” button may set the temperature, unlock the door, disarm the alarm, and turn on the entryway lights.
Home Access Control
Using DMP’s virtual access control means that you can lock and unlock doors from anywhere in the world. We can also integrate your video surveillance system so that you can check in on your home and see who’s at the front door before granting access. Then, speak to them through the intercom and let them know you'll be home soon, or open the door so that they can wait comfortably for your return.
If you’re away on an extended vacation or business trip, grant access to your pet sitter or housekeeper while you’re away, and then delete access after you return. Then, once back home, you can schedule your doors to automatically unlock in the morning and then lock when you leave for the day and go to bed at night.
